Art Off The Wall #Decoding Basquiat is an interactive exhibition and performance that will be held throughout the day on May 21st, 2015, and will include music, live visual art, performance art, and more by a roster of international artists and performers from across the globe. Bridging the gap between performance art, technology, music, and visual art, The Brooklyn Museum, The Bishop Gallery, and The Kymberle Project will be a part of a moment in history that Brooklyn has not seen before. With the massive attendance for their new exhibition, Basquiat: The Unknown Notebooks, The Brooklyn Museum has decided to further engage museum attendees with interactive programming that will help the world decode not only Basquiat's artists identity, but his personal identity as well.
