Artist Residency Program
In September 2020 the Bishop Gallery launched an artist residency program to primarily help alleviate some of the financial burdens creatives are facing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The residency program also gives artists the opportunity to work outside of their normal environments, and not only does it allow for time to produce new works but also research and reflect on their creations. Along with providing studio space, artists are also provided with supplies, marketing, virtual programming, sales, exhibitions, and art fair opportunities.
